Pasta with Lemon Chicken Sauce
Creamy lemon chicken pasta with garlic. No onions.
Ingredients
- Pasta
- Chicken breast, cut into pieces
- 3-4 cloves garlic, minced
- Cream for cooking
- 1 lemon
- Salt and pepper
- Olive oil
Steps
- Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve some pasta water before draining.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Season the chicken pieces with salt and pepper and cook until golden, about 5-6 minutes. Add the garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Add lemon juice. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Add the drained pasta and toss, adding a splash of pasta water if needed to loosen the sauce.
