Pasta with Lemon Chicken Sauce

Ingredients

  • Pasta
  • Chicken breast, cut into pieces
  • 3-4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Cream for cooking
  • 1 lemon
  • Salt and pepper
  • Olive oil

Steps

  1. Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve some pasta water before draining.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Season the chicken pieces with salt and pepper and cook until golden, about 5-6 minutes. Add the garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Add lemon juice. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  4. Add the drained pasta and toss, adding a splash of pasta water if needed to loosen the sauce.
